00:00:00 [Speaker 1]
The noon hour of Madness and Mayhem, the podcast.
00:00:07 [Speaker 1]
Well, we are here.
00:00:09 [Speaker 1]
Apologies if it sounds bad or if I sound bad, I believe Maddie Kidd will be, her shoulders will be hurting because she'll be carrying this entire hour.
00:00:16 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:00:16 [Speaker 2]
What can I say?
00:00:17 [Speaker 2]
Victor's out.
00:00:18 [Speaker 1]
I am not feeling a 100%.
00:00:20 [Speaker 1]
Maybe I should've taken the day off again, but I don't know.
00:00:23 [Speaker 1]
I feel like, I don't know.
00:00:25 [Speaker 1]
I feel like I I missed out on a lot yesterday.
00:00:28 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:00:28 [Speaker 2]
Well, it's good it's good to get caught up, you know.
00:00:31 [Speaker 1]
Right.
00:00:31 [Speaker 2]
And it's not like you're around a whole lot of people.
00:00:34 [Speaker 2]
You're kinda locked in a padded room by yourself.
00:00:36 [Speaker 2]
So
00:00:37 [Speaker 1]
And, yeah.
00:00:37 [Speaker 1]
Victor Victor left early, so that's why Maddie's here to, you know, sort of be this the, the substitute.
00:00:42 [Speaker 1]
Usually, I just go, hey.
00:00:43 [Speaker 1]
Victor's leaving.
00:00:44 [Speaker 1]
Could you come in?
00:00:45 [Speaker 1]
And you just say, oh, heck yeah.
00:00:47 [Speaker 1]
And then
00:00:47 [Speaker 2]
Hey.
00:00:48 [Speaker 2]
It's probably better and more entertaining than whatever I was working on prior.
00:00:52 [Speaker 2]
So
00:00:52 [Speaker 1]
And it's more entertaining than just me sitting here going, like, what should I talk about?
00:00:56 [Speaker 1]
Because initially, I was talking about it on Victor's morning show, how I was gonna make this a best of hour because I didn't feel like talking.
00:01:03 [Speaker 2]
Well, I'm glad I could, you know, grab you by your bootstraps and, you know, yank you back into it.
00:01:09 [Speaker 1]
Well, Victor's gonna be somewhere tomorrow.
00:01:11 [Speaker 1]
He's gonna be at Stan's Stan's Paint Clinic.
00:01:13 [Speaker 1]
I need to pull up the, the liner here.
00:01:16 [Speaker 1]
I haven't pulled this up in a week now.
00:01:18 [Speaker 2]
He's back.
00:01:19 [Speaker 1]
I can't believe it's been a week since, I've been here.
00:01:24 [Speaker 1]
Well, what Today's Wednesday.
00:01:24 [Speaker 1]
Right?
00:01:25 [Speaker 2]
Back.
00:01:25 [Speaker 2]
I think so.
00:01:26 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:01:27 [Speaker 2]
I couldn't tell you with a 100% confidence because I I lost track.
00:01:31 [Speaker 1]
Let me scroll down here because I know I put in the the the liner sheets here.
00:01:35 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:01:35 [Speaker 1]
Victor will be at Stan's Paint Clinic in Idaho Falls.
00:01:37 [Speaker 1]
It's turning 50 years old.
00:01:39 [Speaker 1]
They're throwing a party tomorrow at their shop on Northgate Mile.
00:01:42 [Speaker 1]
They'll have vendor reps showing off the newest products.
00:01:44 [Speaker 1]
Also, the best part, Maddie, free lunch.
00:01:46 [Speaker 2]
Free lunch?
00:01:47 [Speaker 1]
So if you want some free food
00:01:48 [Speaker 2]
Dude, you cannot argue with free lunch.
00:01:51 [Speaker 1]
Plus stuff like popcorn, cotton candy.
00:01:53 [Speaker 1]
There will be a bounce house.
00:01:54 [Speaker 1]
I know you said you missed out on the bounce houses at, Riverfest.
00:01:57 [Speaker 2]
I know.
00:01:58 [Speaker 2]
Unfortunately, I think there'll be less kids to overpower and toss toss off.
00:02:03 [Speaker 1]
I mean, it's kinda I think it's kinda cool that a paint store is doing, like, hey, let's get a bouncy bouncy house That's awesome.
00:02:10 [Speaker 1]
Little
00:02:11 [Speaker 2]
party here.
00:02:11 [Speaker 2]
You know what we should do is for our Christmas party every year, you know how we usually have it at that restaurant.
00:02:18 [Speaker 2]
I think this year, we should rent a bounce house out.
00:02:21 [Speaker 1]
I would love to see Justin in one of those bouncy houses.
00:02:23 [Speaker 2]
Take good money to see half of the people here jumping a bouncy house.
00:02:27 [Speaker 1]
You know those, what is it called?
00:02:30 [Speaker 1]
The inflatable jousting course?
00:02:32 [Speaker 1]
The inflatable I feel like we should have one of those.
00:02:34 [Speaker 1]
Have everyone take out their frustrations out in each other.
00:02:37 [Speaker 2]
That or the bowl, you know, the buck and bowl.
00:02:40 [Speaker 2]
But we give each other the controls.
00:02:42 [Speaker 1]
No.
00:02:43 [Speaker 1]
Victor would make me, like, break my leg or something like that.
00:02:46 [Speaker 2]
Absolutely evil.
00:02:47 [Speaker 2]
Absolutely devious.
00:02:49 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:02:49 [Speaker 1]
We'll not do it.
00:02:50 [Speaker 2]
Hey.
00:02:50 [Speaker 2]
Maybe we can start a GoFundMe.
00:02:52 [Speaker 2]
Maybe other people would be interested in, you know, joining the festivities.
00:02:56 [Speaker 1]
But see, I I would think that'd be more fun more fun as a listener type of remote, a listener type of, thing.
00:03:01 [Speaker 2]
Hey.
00:03:02 [Speaker 2]
They can join us.
00:03:02 [Speaker 1]
They don't have to, like, sign a waiver, I think.
00:03:04 [Speaker 1]
Because what if they did break their leg?
00:03:06 [Speaker 2]
That's true.
00:03:06 [Speaker 2]
But did they sign a waiver for the bowl thing at Riverfest?
00:03:10 [Speaker 1]
I think you just decided to go on it yourself.
00:03:13 [Speaker 2]
Oh, yeah.
00:03:13 [Speaker 2]
I guess free meals.
00:03:14 [Speaker 2]
Beautiful thing.
00:03:15 [Speaker 1]
Maybe if someone did get hurt, I wonder I'm glad nobody did.
00:03:18 [Speaker 2]
Right.
00:03:18 [Speaker 1]
There was a few people that showed up that were like, hey, can I get a Band Aid?
00:03:21 [Speaker 1]
There was a lot of people asking me for Band Aids.
00:03:23 [Speaker 2]
You know, I I had did not get a Band Aid question.
00:03:26 [Speaker 2]
I think the only thing I got was someone asking me for hand wipes because their child's hands were really sticky.
00:03:31 [Speaker 2]
It was really gross.
00:03:33 [Speaker 1]
There was, one kid that came up, said, can I get a Band Aid?
00:03:36 [Speaker 1]
And his whole arm is just bloody.
00:03:37 [Speaker 1]
I'm like, what happened here?
00:03:39 [Speaker 2]
So my little friend, I'm gonna direct you over to the Idaho Falls Community Hospital medical booth.
00:03:46 [Speaker 2]
We're gonna get you checked out over there.
00:03:48 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:03:48 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:03:49 [Speaker 1]
As you can tell, it's a it's a very noon it's a noon hour of mild and mediocre.
00:03:53 [Speaker 1]
That's Is what is what this is gonna be called.
00:03:55 [Speaker 2]
And that's okay.
00:03:55 [Speaker 2]
It's one of them days.
00:03:56 [Speaker 1]
One of these days.
00:03:57 [Speaker 1]
I'm sure a lot of our listeners were in Salt Lake City last night, watch going to they attended the Summer of Loud performance that I was supposed to be at.
00:04:06 [Speaker 2]
Shoulda coulda woulda.
00:04:07 [Speaker 1]
I did not wanna get Winston from Parkway Drive sick because I was supposed to interview him at, like, 07:15 yesterday.
00:04:12 [Speaker 1]
I told the record rep.
00:04:13 [Speaker 1]
I'm like, hey.
00:04:14 [Speaker 1]
I can't make it.
00:04:15 [Speaker 2]
Hey.
00:04:15 [Speaker 2]
Good on you for being respectful of their health and
00:04:18 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:04:19 [Speaker 2]
You know, something like that.
00:04:20 [Speaker 2]
I would hate to get sick if I'm gonna go out and do all these things.
00:04:24 [Speaker 1]
So Right.
00:04:24 [Speaker 1]
So we'll continue this noon hour of madness and mayhem here in just a few with what?
00:04:28 [Speaker 1]
I don't know.
00:04:30 [Speaker 1]
Continuing on with this noon hour of mild and mediocre I Am Peaches.
00:04:34 [Speaker 2]
I'm Mad Dog.
00:04:35 [Speaker 1]
And, Maddie, I, recorded, like, three different Peaches Needs a Pal videos over the the time that I was gone.
00:04:41 [Speaker 1]
You know, even though I'm supposed to be, like, enjoying my time off, I still, you know, look out for that content for your socials.
00:04:48 [Speaker 2]
Need to get a pal.
00:04:50 [Speaker 1]
That's true.
00:04:50 [Speaker 2]
It doesn't stop after five peaches.
00:04:52 [Speaker 2]
You always need a pal.
00:04:53 [Speaker 1]
Now that the fourth is over, I feel like I can go up to Jade and be like, hey.
00:04:56 [Speaker 1]
Listen.
00:04:56 [Speaker 1]
We should definitely start selling these peaches pal t shirts.
00:04:59 [Speaker 2]
Real.
00:05:00 [Speaker 2]
And the design is so good.
00:05:03 [Speaker 1]
We need to have some sort of, like, death metal writing on it, something like that.
00:05:07 [Speaker 2]
Of course.
00:05:07 [Speaker 1]
Maybe have, like, a lonely peach on the back.
00:05:09 [Speaker 1]
I feel like you and Star could cook something up that's not AI generated.
00:05:11 [Speaker 2]
We could we could crack something out.
00:05:13 [Speaker 2]
And, also, we have, like, the the t shirt presses and stuff.
00:05:16 [Speaker 2]
So I'm just saying and also stickers.
00:05:18 [Speaker 2]
I think stickers would be a fantastic idea.
00:05:20 [Speaker 1]
Considering I was gone yesterday, I didn't have I I didn't have my meeting with Jade because usually Tuesdays are my meeting days days with him.
00:05:28 [Speaker 1]
So I might need to just walk into his office today or potentially next week, I feel like.
00:05:32 [Speaker 1]
When I'm when I'm back to a 100%, give him the sales pitch, be like, hey.
00:05:35 [Speaker 1]
Listen.
00:05:35 [Speaker 2]
Right.
00:05:36 [Speaker 2]
Maybe slide a note under the door.
00:05:37 [Speaker 2]
Be like, hey.
00:05:38 [Speaker 1]
Here's a great way to raise some money.
00:05:40 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:05:40 [Speaker 1]
Peach's Pal t shirts.
00:05:42 [Speaker 2]
Can we sell Peach's Pal t shirts?
00:05:44 [Speaker 2]
Circle?
00:05:44 [Speaker 2]
Yes or no?
00:05:45 [Speaker 1]
Have chat GPT come up with those, like, this, Shark Tank style pitch
00:05:49 [Speaker 2]
to Maybe we can get together and we could do, like, a commercial.
00:05:54 [Speaker 1]
Something like that.
00:05:54 [Speaker 1]
Sure.
00:05:54 [Speaker 1]
We do,
00:05:55 [Speaker 2]
like, a mock up, you know, higher model.
00:05:57 [Speaker 1]
There there was a, what, one of them that we recorded at Hi C Hot Springs.
00:06:01 [Speaker 2]
Oh, really?
00:06:01 [Speaker 1]
And I was in the pool and I'm like, I'm shirtless in this video.
00:06:04 [Speaker 1]
I don't think anybody wants to see that.
00:06:05 [Speaker 1]
So
00:06:06 [Speaker 2]
Are you gonna censor it?
00:06:07 [Speaker 1]
I am gonna I I was looking at tutorials on how to use the Gaussian blur on Premiere Pro Oh, brother.
00:06:12 [Speaker 1]
I can have a lot of that.
00:06:13 [Speaker 1]
I was gonna say, could you?
00:06:13 [Speaker 1]
Because you're you're the video expert in here.
00:06:15 [Speaker 2]
Maybe we could just, like, like patch a t shirt over you.
00:06:21 [Speaker 2]
Like a K Bear t shirt.
00:06:22 [Speaker 1]
Something like that.
00:06:23 [Speaker 2]
Like, it's, like, visually kinda looks like doo doo, but it's to the point where it's comedic and now it looks like you're actually trying.
00:06:29 [Speaker 1]
It would be funny because I'm in the pool just by myself.
00:06:31 [Speaker 2]
Oh, buddy.
00:06:32 [Speaker 1]
Back when we were at High Sea Hot Springs, it started to rain and thunder and it was really fun.
00:06:36 [Speaker 1]
Nice.
00:06:36 [Speaker 1]
It was cool.
00:06:37 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:06:37 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:06:38 [Speaker 2]
I've been up there when it was raining and thundering and the roads can get a little treacherous.
00:06:42 [Speaker 1]
But They can.
00:06:43 [Speaker 2]
It's great when it's like the hot springs.
00:06:45 [Speaker 1]
We we went all over the place.
00:06:46 [Speaker 1]
We went to some weird spots.
00:06:47 [Speaker 1]
We went to the Ryrie Bar.
00:06:48 [Speaker 1]
Nice.
00:06:49 [Speaker 1]
That was a that was a unique spot.
00:06:50 [Speaker 1]
Nice.
00:06:50 [Speaker 1]
Nice.
00:06:50 [Speaker 1]
We went to Chisholm in Idaho.
00:06:52 [Speaker 1]
We went to, Hagerman, Idaho a couple of times.
00:06:55 [Speaker 1]
Had my first Idaho rainbow trout.
00:06:57 [Speaker 1]
I was gonna talk about this during my afternoon show, so I might just save it for then.
00:07:01 [Speaker 2]
Save it.
00:07:01 [Speaker 2]
Stay tuned.
00:07:02 [Speaker 1]
Save it
00:07:02 [Speaker 2]
for later.
00:07:03 [Speaker 1]
Talk about the whole kayaking adventure.
00:07:04 [Speaker 1]
The Oh, god.
00:07:05 [Speaker 1]
Almost died.
00:07:07 [Speaker 1]
That was fun.
00:07:08 [Speaker 2]
Evil.
00:07:08 [Speaker 2]
Absolutely evil.
00:07:10 [Speaker 1]
I'm a little concerned, Maddie Okay.
00:07:12 [Speaker 1]
About one of my favorite cats, one of my favorite Internet, characters.
00:07:16 [Speaker 2]
Okay.
00:07:17 [Speaker 1]
Cinderblock the cat.
00:07:18 [Speaker 2]
Cinderblock the cat.
00:07:19 [Speaker 1]
She was, twenty one pounds at one point.
00:07:23 [Speaker 1]
She currently weighs fourteen point six pounds.
00:07:26 [Speaker 1]
Her goal is 12.
00:07:27 [Speaker 1]
Oh.
00:07:28 [Speaker 1]
And they had her doing these treadmill workouts that were underwater and all of that.
00:07:31 [Speaker 1]
But the the issue that I have here is that I'm looking at the Instagram, and the last video was nineteen weeks ago.
00:07:37 [Speaker 1]
And I'm trying to to I'm I'm starting to think maybe, maybe Cinderblock is no longer with us.
00:07:43 [Speaker 2]
Not doing so hot.
00:07:44 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:07:45 [Speaker 1]
Maybe Cinderblock is now, not here anymore.
00:07:49 [Speaker 2]
Maybe Cinderblock is, taking a hiatus from social media because,
00:07:53 [Speaker 1]
you know Maybe.
00:07:54 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:07:54 [Speaker 2]
All that, the beauty standards of cats really affects Cinderblock's image or something like that.
00:08:00 [Speaker 1]
She has a 132,000 followers.
00:08:03 [Speaker 1]
Oh.
00:08:05 [Speaker 1]
Is there, like, there's a whole, like, merch store you can buy here.
00:08:08 [Speaker 1]
Cinderblock Chonk Gym.
00:08:10 [Speaker 2]
Chonk Gym.
00:08:11 [Speaker 1]
There's different T shirts you could buy.
00:08:13 [Speaker 1]
Is Cinderblock Oh, man.
00:08:14 [Speaker 1]
I really I would I can I message should I message this, page?
00:08:17 [Speaker 1]
Hey.
00:08:17 [Speaker 2]
You were live.
00:08:18 [Speaker 2]
You're live, bud?
00:08:19 [Speaker 1]
Hey.
00:08:19 [Speaker 1]
You doing okay?
00:08:20 [Speaker 2]
Maybe we should get Victor a cinder block, the cat t shirt.
00:08:23 [Speaker 1]
I did see Peaches the cat from the, Snake River animal shelter.
00:08:27 [Speaker 1]
Was it that one?
00:08:29 [Speaker 1]
She has been adopted.
00:08:30 [Speaker 1]
Really?
00:08:30 [Speaker 2]
Mhmm.
00:08:31 [Speaker 2]
Cool.
00:08:32 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:08:32 [Speaker 1]
I'm I know that's what you get when you when you name a cat Peaches.
00:08:35 [Speaker 1]
You're like It's like
00:08:35 [Speaker 2]
a good luck charm.
00:08:36 [Speaker 2]
You know?
00:08:36 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:08:37 [Speaker 2]
We got the snake Peaches, got the cat Peaches.
00:08:39 [Speaker 1]
Maybe it was one of our listeners that adopted the cat.
00:08:41 [Speaker 2]
They're like, oh, yeah.
00:08:42 [Speaker 2]
I'll take that.
00:08:43 [Speaker 2]
Thank you.
00:08:44 [Speaker 1]
It was the Idaho Falls animal shelter Peaches.
00:08:46 [Speaker 1]
She was a, she is people think she's a Maine Coon.
00:08:50 [Speaker 1]
She has, like, those extra toes too.
00:08:52 [Speaker 1]
Oh my
00:08:53 [Speaker 2]
gosh.
00:08:54 [Speaker 2]
I've always wanted a cat with extra toes.
00:08:56 [Speaker 2]
They are just so cute.
00:08:58 [Speaker 1]
I I would get a a cat, but my nose, I'd start sneezing everywhere.
00:09:02 [Speaker 2]
I get it.
00:09:02 [Speaker 1]
The last time I was at, Victor's place was horrible.
00:09:06 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:09:06 [Speaker 2]
And he has pretty short haired cats, doesn't he?
00:09:09 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:09:09 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:09:09 [Speaker 1]
I don't I just kept, like I wonder if, like, Victor's friends just thought I was sick the whole time, but I was just sneezing a little
00:09:15 [Speaker 2]
bit of place.
00:09:16 [Speaker 1]
Had a Kleenex glued to my nose.
00:09:18 [Speaker 2]
That's such a bummer because, you know, I think you would like my cats because they're so cute and so big and so chunky and so fluffy.
00:09:24 [Speaker 1]
Well, I grew up with, like, dogs, cats, rabbits, tortoise tortoises, fish.
00:09:30 [Speaker 1]
No.
00:09:30 [Speaker 1]
I had Tommy and Tabitha back in the day.
00:09:32 [Speaker 2]
You had more than one tortoise than whatever which one is.
00:09:35 [Speaker 1]
Tommy and Tabitha were Russian tortoises.
00:09:37 [Speaker 1]
I forgot when they passed, but they were they were fun.
00:09:39 [Speaker 2]
Geese.
00:09:40 [Speaker 2]
I always nerfed about some minds.
00:09:42 [Speaker 1]
Then Sheldon came along in, like, 2015, I think.
00:09:46 [Speaker 1]
But we've been through so much.
00:09:47 [Speaker 2]
How old were the other two that passed away?
00:09:49 [Speaker 1]
They weren't as old as Sheldon.
00:09:50 [Speaker 1]
Sheldon's 54 now.
00:09:52 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:09:52 [Speaker 2]
He's a he's definitely an old man.
00:09:54 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:09:54 [Speaker 1]
He's about double or triple the size of what Tommy and Tabitha were.
00:09:58 [Speaker 1]
I believe Tabitha, like, started eating all the food and, like, wouldn't let Tommy eat.
00:10:02 [Speaker 1]
So she became this big, big girl, but Tommy still liked her.
00:10:06 [Speaker 2]
She's just a little chunky.
00:10:08 [Speaker 2]
That's okay.
00:10:08 [Speaker 1]
I thought they were wrestling.
00:10:09 [Speaker 1]
They weren't wrestling.
00:10:11 [Speaker 1]
And all of a sudden, like, there was eggs.
00:10:14 [Speaker 2]
And you were a grandpa.
00:10:15 [Speaker 2]
Congratulations.
00:10:16 [Speaker 2]
We wanted
00:10:16 [Speaker 1]
to, like, we wanted to keep those eggs, you know, warm and see if, like, they would hatch, but, we just ended up failing at that.
00:10:22 [Speaker 2]
No dice.
00:10:23 [Speaker 2]
I actually had to raise an entire colony of baby axolotls.
00:10:28 [Speaker 2]
What?
00:10:29 [Speaker 2]
That was quite the feat.
00:10:31 [Speaker 2]
I don't think I'm fit to be a parent after that excursion.
00:10:34 [Speaker 1]
No.
00:10:34 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:10:34 [Speaker 1]
Well, might as well try again.
00:10:37 [Speaker 1]
See you again.
00:10:37 [Speaker 2]
Never again.
00:10:38 [Speaker 1]
Come on.
00:10:39 [Speaker 2]
It was awful.
00:10:40 [Speaker 1]
You have pet fish.
00:10:41 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:10:41 [Speaker 2]
I do.
00:10:41 [Speaker 2]
But you have to put them all in, like, these tiny little, like, sauce cups individually because they will eat each other.
00:10:47 [Speaker 2]
And you have to hatch
00:10:49 [Speaker 1]
I mean, that's terrifying to see.
00:10:51 [Speaker 1]
You assume eat each other.
00:10:52 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:10:52 [Speaker 2]
It's really gross.
00:10:53 [Speaker 2]
A little traumatic.
00:10:54 [Speaker 2]
But you have to hatch baby shrimp because they will only eat the live ones.
00:11:00 [Speaker 1]
I know I know nothing about this.
00:11:01 [Speaker 1]
I had bamboo shrimp at one point.
00:11:04 [Speaker 1]
And the bamboo shrimp, I believe, one of them died and my fish at the time, Max, was just eating it.
00:11:09 [Speaker 1]
It traumatized me.
00:11:10 [Speaker 1]
Aw.
00:11:11 [Speaker 1]
But Max was that miracle fish where I got him at the carnival in the first grade, one of those little, games in my school, and it lived for, like, fourteen years.
00:11:19 [Speaker 1]
It lost its fins, lost its color, but he was still swimming along.
00:11:22 [Speaker 2]
That's how you know you took good care of a fish.
00:11:24 [Speaker 1]
My name I think I had Max and Ruby because it was they were named after the TV show characters.
00:11:29 [Speaker 1]
And then, yeah, Ruby one passed away, then Max also had Ruby two, then Ruby three.
00:11:35 [Speaker 1]
Max got to Max saw, like, three different She
00:11:37 [Speaker 2]
got all of them.
00:11:38 [Speaker 2]
One on each arm.
00:11:39 [Speaker 1]
Max got to see the generations or what what's what's what's it called?
00:11:42 [Speaker 1]
He got to see the the whole bloodline of rubies.
00:11:45 [Speaker 2]
Good for him.
00:11:46 [Speaker 1]
Good for him.
00:11:48 [Speaker 1]
Wrapping up the noon hour of Madness and Mayhem, I am Peaches.
00:11:51 [Speaker 2]
I'm my dog.
00:11:52 [Speaker 1]
Now over the weekend, my friends and I did a lot.
00:11:55 [Speaker 1]
They have successfully made it back to Southern California.
00:11:57 [Speaker 1]
They were on the noon hour of Madness and Mayhem last Thursday, but we also did well, I mean, we did tons of stuff.
00:12:02 [Speaker 1]
We went to Shoshone, Idaho.
00:12:03 [Speaker 1]
We went to, different small towns, went to Hagerman, got to see Box Canyon, got to see Nice.
00:12:10 [Speaker 1]
Tons of different things.
00:12:11 [Speaker 1]
And I think that's the reason why I'm so worn out yesterday.
00:12:13 [Speaker 1]
I spent the whole day just sleeping.
00:12:15 [Speaker 2]
Dude, I go to Walmart.
00:12:16 [Speaker 2]
I go to Walmart and I'm knocked out.
00:12:17 [Speaker 2]
So Going to Walmart too.
00:12:19 [Speaker 1]
Is a is a definite just fun time here in East Idaho.
00:12:22 [Speaker 2]
That it's the only thing to do, actually.
00:12:23 [Speaker 2]
Right.
00:12:24 [Speaker 1]
I've been
00:12:24 [Speaker 2]
quite frank with you.
00:12:25 [Speaker 1]
So I was talking to you about the the the, the awesome thing that they have that is Walmart pickup.
00:12:31 [Speaker 1]
Mhmm.
00:12:31 [Speaker 1]
And you're like, well, part of my adventure is to go inside the store.
00:12:34 [Speaker 2]
It's like my enrichment time going into Walmart.
00:12:37 [Speaker 1]
I do enjoy going into Walmart, but at the same time, when there's people that just for some reason block the front door, like, they'll walk in, they'll they'll race me to the front door Evil.
00:12:45 [Speaker 1]
And then they'll stand in my way.
00:12:46 [Speaker 2]
Evil.
00:12:47 [Speaker 2]
Or when they're walking across, like, the road and you're sitting there in your car
00:12:50 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:12:50 [Speaker 2]
And the person just is so barely past the threshold where it's like okay to inch forward just for another family of 20 to come barreling in front of your
00:12:58 [Speaker 1]
vehicle.
00:12:58 [Speaker 1]
Exactly.
00:12:59 [Speaker 2]
Holy moly.
00:13:01 [Speaker 2]
I would rather rip my hair out.
00:13:02 [Speaker 1]
But we also, came up with this, this just checklist of things to do, like a bucket list for me and you.
00:13:08 [Speaker 1]
Because considering my friends, I think this is the last time that they'll be out here because one of them might be moving.
00:13:13 [Speaker 1]
I think the other one's planning on trying to get, like, another full time job soon.
00:13:16 [Speaker 1]
So, you know, we're trying to we're me and you are trying to figure out things to do in the area, like go to the Shoshone Ice Caves.
00:13:22 [Speaker 2]
Right.
00:13:22 [Speaker 1]
Things like that.
00:13:23 [Speaker 1]
Go on weekend adventures while the weather is nice and warm.
00:13:26 [Speaker 2]
And, you know, get get those summer vibes going.
00:13:29 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:13:29 [Speaker 2]
Because it's been not very vibey.
00:13:31 [Speaker 1]
I mean, it's July 9.
00:13:33 [Speaker 1]
It's,
00:13:34 [Speaker 2]
where does the time go?
00:13:35 [Speaker 1]
I know.
00:13:36 [Speaker 1]
I know pretty soon we'll start seeing back to school sales at different stores.
00:13:39 [Speaker 2]
Hey.
00:13:39 [Speaker 2]
Guess what next week is?
00:13:41 [Speaker 1]
What?
00:13:41 [Speaker 2]
My one year workaversary.
00:13:43 [Speaker 1]
There we go.
00:13:44 [Speaker 2]
I know.
00:13:45 [Speaker 2]
Baby's baby's one year workaversary.
00:13:48 [Speaker 1]
Is it weird to think that you've been here for a year?
00:13:50 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:13:50 [Speaker 2]
I feel like, the time has passed really fast, which is a little scary because I'm worried that here in about ten or so years, some snarky little teenager is gonna tell me they're gonna put me in a nursing home.
00:14:04 [Speaker 2]
So, you know.
00:14:05 [Speaker 1]
It's been, I mean, the time for me has passed significantly super fast.
00:14:10 [Speaker 2]
Yeah.
00:14:10 [Speaker 2]
Me too.
00:14:11 [Speaker 2]
It's crazy.
00:14:12 [Speaker 1]
And, I was thinking about it.
00:14:14 [Speaker 1]
I'm like, well, it's been four years now.
00:14:16 [Speaker 1]
I'm almost 30, which is wild to think.
00:14:20 [Speaker 1]
Every time someone sees my, like, the picture of me when I first started versus now, they're like, woah.
00:14:24 [Speaker 2]
It's like those memes that's, like, engineers before, you know, working and then at, like, five years after and they look like the h about twenty.
00:14:32 [Speaker 2]
Mhmm.
00:14:33 [Speaker 1]
It's kind
00:14:33 [Speaker 2]
of the same vibe you had going on, just not as, you know, severe.
00:14:36 [Speaker 1]
Well, I renewed my license and they they decided to continue using my old photo.
00:14:40 [Speaker 2]
Evil.
00:14:41 [Speaker 1]
And so I'm like, this this photo is now four years old and I don't look the same in that picture.
00:14:46 [Speaker 1]
You just
00:14:46 [Speaker 2]
pulled over and someone's like, sir, is this a fake ID?
00:14:49 [Speaker 2]
Right.
00:14:49 [Speaker 1]
I'm
00:14:50 [Speaker 2]
like, no.
00:14:50 [Speaker 2]
It's my real one.
00:14:51 [Speaker 1]
I promise.
00:14:52 [Speaker 1]
This is me from, you know, with hair.
00:14:53 [Speaker 1]
Devious.
00:14:54 [Speaker 1]
One of those things.
00:14:55 [Speaker 1]
But anyway, like I said, this was a noon hour of mild and, mediocre.
00:14:59 [Speaker 1]
Thank you, Maddie, for joining.
00:15:00 [Speaker 2]
Of course.
00:15:00 [Speaker 2]
My pleasure.
00:15:01 [Speaker 1]
Appreciate it.
00:15:01 [Speaker 1]
And then, yeah, tomorrow, Victor will be at Stan's Paint Clinic in Idaho Falls.
00:15:05 [Speaker 1]
He'll be there from noon to two.
00:15:07 [Speaker 1]
We briefly talked about that remote at the start of the hour, but then I didn't give out the time or anything.
00:15:11 [Speaker 1]
They're gonna have that whole fiftieth birthday party tomorrow at tomorrow, all day tomorrow, but Victor will specifically be there from noon to two.
00:15:19 [Speaker 1]
I was trying to find the liner.
00:15:20 [Speaker 1]
There it is.
00:15:21 [Speaker 1]
They'll have, like, what we talked about the bouncy house, they'll talk they'll have the free lunch, popcorn, cotton candy, And, yeah, Victor will have some goodies on hand as well to help celebrate fifty years of Stan's paint clinic.
00:15:31 [Speaker 1]
And, I'll be back for Peach's pimp party with the, this terrible, terrible voice that I currently have right now.
00:15:37 [Speaker 2]
That's okay.
00:15:37 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:15:38 [Speaker 1]
One of those one of those days.
00:15:41 [Speaker 1]
Be who you are.
